What is NG Art Creative Residency Prize?
The NG Art Creative Residency Prize is a multidisciplinary competition, which aims to discover and celebrate emerging and established creative talents.
The Prize winners will receive a free three-week residency at the NG Art Creative Residency in Eygalieres, Provence in 2018, with the first opportunity beginning in April. This includes board and lodging, mentorship and residency-related outings, valued at up to AUD$3,000/ USD$2,325/ €1,890/ £1,665.
The Prize winners will have the opportunity to explore the Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur region, learn the native tongue and try their hand at traditional Provencal cooking. They will engage with fellow creatives and the local artist community at evening soirées, feasts for the senses, workshops, and over Côte de Provence Rosès at local vineyards.
What is NG Art Creative Residency?
A home away from home, NG Art Creative Residency is an international multi-disciplinary creative residency set in the 15th Century Provencal Homestead,
Mas des Pelerins (House of Pilgrims).
It offers a place of respite, nourishment and enlightenment for artists, writers, poets, musicians, performers, filmmakers, photographers, academic scholars, and other creatives who seek to enrich their process, embark on imaginative endeavours, and immerse themselves in an environment of reflection and creative freedom – in the studio and en plein air.
Directed and run by long-standing gallerist, curator, entrepreneur, director and visionary Nicky Ginsberg, the NG Art Creative Residency is the collective brainchild of Ginsberg’s creative offspring; NG Art Gallery, the Chippendale Creative Precinct, Carlton Project Space, Kensington Contemporary, Mission Restaurant Bar, and The Chip Off The Old Block.

Submitting an Application
Please email the following to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘NG Art Creative Residency Prize 2018’ in the subject.
All entries must include your full name, date, title, creative medium, address and contact details.
One PDF document of no more than 10MB including:
- 350 words outlining the expected outcomes of your proposed residency and how the opportunity will assist in the development of your practice.
- A biography in paragraph form of no more than 250 words noting recent key achievements such as exhibitions, art or literary awards, grants, residencies, prizes, etc.
- A copy of your current CV (max. two pages), detailing any residencies and/or exhibitions in the forthcoming calendar year, or any other commitments requiring international travel.

No more than 6 images (JPEGs) – labelled with your name and artwork titles.
All applications are due by 23rd March 2018.
